Adult Programs

Whether it's a gallery walk-through led by an OMCA Docent or a talk by an artist, a Docent-led bike tour of Oakland or a music-filled evening in our galleries, our special programs and events offer new perspectives on the way you think about our state and our community. We offer a dynamic array of compelling adult programs reflecting the California experience.

  • Special Events
Our OMCA Calendar is filled with numerous special events—including talks given by curators and artists, film screenings, and live performances, just to name a few—many of which are included with museum admission. We also invite you to celebrate the diverse cultures and arts of our community through our Community Celebrations.

  • Bike Tours of Oakland
From May through October, the Museum's bike-tripping docents lead a group of cyclists on a leisurely ride through many scenic and historical parts of Oakland. Check our calendar for upcoming tours.

  • Guild Trips
The guilds organize day tours in the Bay Area, as well as trips to destinations throughout the U.S. and abroad. Learn more about the Guilds.
