As the days get shorter and the seasons change, OMCA invites you to bring your Friday Nights @ OMCA fun inside this Winter Season! Find inspiration in a new artwork, connect with new and old friends, and kick off the weekend at one of Oakland’s favorite things to do every week.

Late Night Gallery Hours

5–9 pm: Galleries Open Late (Winter Season Hours Begin)
Explore the Museum’s 110,000 square feet of gallery space until 9 pm, including hands-on exhibitions with interactive activities for the whole family to enjoy.

7:30–7:45 pm: Snack-Sized Docent Tour
Visit Ticketing Desk on Level 2 to discover meeting location.
Join a lively fifteen-minute mini-tour led by a talented OMCA Docent with a surprise theme each time. Included with Museum admission.

Enjoy a rotating lineup of local gourmet food trucks from Off the Grid.

5–9 pm: Blue Oak Beer Garden
Level 1
Enjoy beer and wine specials from local makers.

Kick back and relax with seating available on 10th Street (no alcoholic beverages allowed), the 10th Street Amphitheater, Oak Street Plaza, or café patio. To protect the Museum collections, food and drink are not allowed inside the galleries unless otherwise designated. The OMCA Gardens will be open tonight, but closed during the remaining Friday Nights @ OMCA of the winter season.

3–9 pm: Indian Market at OMCA
In celebration of Native American Heritage Month—and just in time for the holidays—shop the annual Indian Market at OMCA featuring jewelry, baskets, prints, and other modern interpretations of Indian artistry.

Directions

OMCA is located one block from the Lake Merritt BART Station. Event parking is available at the Museum for a $7 flat fee after 5 pm. Museum garage closes at 11 pm.
