Celebrate diverse winter traditions reflected in the Bay Area, including Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa. Enjoy storytime with the Oakland Public Library, winter-themed activities, strolling carolers, and a special Balinese dance and music performance by Gamelan Sekar Jaya Ensemble. Create a candle to take home as we wrap up the final Friday Nights @ OMCA for 2018.

Late Night Gallery Hours

5–9 pm: Galleries Open Late 
Explore the Museum’s 110,000 square feet of gallery space until 9 pm, including hands-on exhibitions with interactive activities for the whole family to enjoy.

Take Root: Oakland Grows Food on Level 1.

Enjoy beer and wine specials from local makers.

Kick back and relax with seating available on 10th Street (no alcoholic beverages allowed), the 10th Street Amphitheater, Oak Street Plaza, or café patio. To protect the Museum collections, food and drink are not allowed inside the galleries unless otherwise designated. Please note the OMCA Gardens are closed during Friday Nights @ OMCA during the winter season.

Directions

OMCA is located one block from the Lake Merritt BART Station. Event parking is available at the Museum for a $7 flat fee after 5 pm. Museum garage closes at 10:30 pm.
